Classes
tiny tadpoles
- Caregiver & Child swim lessons for ages 6-24 months
- 8 consecutive day, 25 minute lessons
- Only offered at certain locations; check our customer portal by clicking on "REGISTER NOW" for availability
- Gentle introduction to a swimming pool; no prior aquatic experience necessary
- Learn basic swim and safety skills, sing songs, play with toys, learn breath control, get accustomed to water over head and face
- Fun interaction with your child at your own pace!
- Cost $200 Price includes: photos of you and your child at lessons, underwater photos if you request them, dive toys, and T-shirt/towel/or bucket hat upon graduation
LEVEL 1 - BEGINNER
- Ages 2-6 years; 18-24 months welcome with prior aquatic experience, water lovers, or dare devils
- 8 consecutive day, 30 minute lessons
- Children learn to swim in the correct prone swimming position with their face in the water
- Children are taught to swim quickly, in turn, learns skills that might one day save their lives
- BE PREPARED, this method combined with meeting instructors for the first time, and hearing other children cry means your child will probably cry too. GOOD NEWS! Almost all of the children bond with us and start to cheer up after day 2 or 3, however, some children may take longer
- Once the crying subsides, the kids begin having the best time learning and being in the water
- END RESULT: Most children will be swimming and having a lot of fun by the end of 8 lessons

LEVEL 1 - BEGINNER semi private (7+) new!
- A NEW beginner class for ages 7 and up
- 8 consecutive day, 30 minute lessons
- Semi private class: 2 instructors with a max of 4 students in each class
- This class will be taught at our main location in Prairieville and in popular outlying locations. Check our customer portal for availability by clicking on "REGISTER NOW"
- Cost $240 Price includes: underwater photos of your child, dive toys, and T-shirt or towel upon graduation
LEVEL 2 - refresher/red cross stroke introduction
- For ages 3+ who can independently and confidently swim around with their face in the water
- 8 consecutive day, 40 minute lessons
- This course includes:
- Swimming on the front with proper use of arms and legs
- Introduction to breathing while swimming
- Introduction to swimming on the back
- Extended front and back floating
- Introduction to treading water
- Cost $230 Price includes: underwater photos of your child, dive toys, and T-shirt or towel upon graduation
LEVEL 3 - red cross stroke development
- For ages 4+ who complete and master Red Cross Level 2 or a stroke introduction course similar
- 8 consecutive day, 40 minute lessons

- This course includes:
- Refine freestyle with side breaths
- Learn the elementary backstroke and breast stroke
- Learn kicks for butterfly and side stroke
- Advanced treading
- Compact dives

LEVEL 4 - red cross stroke improvement
- For ages 5+ who complete and master Red Cross Level 3
- 8 consecutive day, 40 minute lessons
- ONLY offered at NewSong in Prairieville
- An advanced course where they work on 6 strokes:
- They will continue to work on freestyle, backstroke, elementary back stroke, and breast stroke
- Introduction to butterfly and side stroke
